Because of rabid fan request (note the singular), we’ve created a Lüt myspace page. It may seem “like being on the Titanic”–as one critic had stated–however there are some sweet demos & other tunes to be had…just another way to satiate the Lüt fix.
Recorded in the fertile ’92-’93 era, Chas & Lars went on a pool expedition one snowy evening and “Fast Eddie” was born. According to memory, this track features the red-haired polka boy and Andy “Puckola” on backing vocals. Eddie was from the golden cue part of town. Inspired by a man at the famous Cue who rolled in with a pool stick in a case. I want to say this was almost used as the closing credit music to “The Color of Money” but they went with that stupid Eric Clapton song instead. pffft….
…just an update for the superfans: Lars fired up the rock guitar amplifier today & warmed up the tubes like it was nobody’s business. The amp, rescued from the local dump, was used mostly to get some heat in the house, but also to work on some slide parts–notably, “Fire Come Down the Chimney.” Meanwhile, outside the amp room, mixing continues…
