Bandcamp allows artists to sell their wares with all the proceeds going to the artist – no middle man. Even better the tracks are available in a variety of high-quality lossless audio formats. Lars stopped by the WRPI studios yesterday where Little J Dünnhom, Dog in the Bathtub, JM the F, Woman Driver, and Mitchie’s Waltz were all played on air. Needless to say, the flood of War Wagon sales and requests have been overwhelming. We’re dealing with iphone 4-like demand here so bear with us.

Really excited to announce that the first ever lüt music video is currently in production at Dream Studios Southeast. It’s for a sweet cut off of the forthcoming album entitled “Set Me Back”. It’s got everything you could want in a lüt music video. Lars with long 80′s hair, Chas playing drums in the woods, fast driving…old rotary phones. Look for it when the album drops, which should really be in the next month or so. Stay tuned.

In the latest installment of the ongoing Lut Origins series, we’d like to present “The Old West”, a 4 track gem recorded in 1992 by Chas and Lars during what are now known as the “Back At R.I.T.” sessions. Clint Eastwood thought about using this song for the closing credits of his classic western “Unforgiven” but decided to use a self-penned score instead. Whatever.
